I dressed up as a Ninja for Halloween. Last week I went to look for Halloween costumes but I couldn't find one, so I decided to make it by myself. Arisa also made her costume. She is good at sewing. She taught me how to sew, so I could do some of it but she made almost all of our costumes.
Anyway, we are taking Beginner Theater class together. It is taught by our favorite teacher, Katelin Zelon. I always feel inspired from her. The theme of choreography at this time was 'scary'. I liked that choreography. We also did a video shooting at this time. The class was so amazing, and I'm so excited to watch this video.
After the class, we took pictures with some students and our teacher.
And then we went to see a Halloween parade. There were so many people and it was very crowded. We couldn't get out of the subway platform for a while, but the parade was so amazing. We saw people who were dressed up walking on the street, and a big float. The music was also awesome. I was so excited and be moved by the experience. We need to do this in Japan.
I watched the news about Halloween in Japan. I felt so bad, and a little sad. They don't have manners and they don't know how to enjoy Halloween. Also young people just want to make a lot of noise.
In comparison, Americans kept their manners, and I thought that people of various ages could enjoy I together. I hope Japanese Halloween will get better in the future.
By the way, we took a lot of pictures on the street!!!!!
I really enjoyed Halloween this year and I will never forget this moment ever. I was so happy to feel the experience of Halloween in New York.
